Music

Traditional music has been part of Inishbofin culture for centuries. The Inishbofin Ceili Band was formed in the earlier part of the 1980's. The band plays the local hostelries for the duration of the summer and they carry out some touring throughout the winter months. They have toured Ireland, Germany, Britain and the United States. For such a small Island Inishbofin has had many local albums released. Below are CD's by local artists.
