Doonmore Cove on the west of the island offers amazing views of the ocean from the top of the cliff. This is a great place to watch the sun set over the Atlantic.
The north-east side of the island offers great rugged landscape and cliffs off the beaten track. Enquire about guided walks to this less explored but equally spectacular part of the island. Inishlyon island, which is only accessible during a very low tide, also has some spectacular cliffs, but the island is best visited with a local guide.
Ask the tourism information at the Community Centre for tips for best cliff spotting places on the island!
